Dinner time!

Oven roasted turkey breast, yellow, red,& orange bell peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, bean sprouts, portabello mushrooms, cashews, and almond slivers! Mmmm good!

Mmmm Turkey! It's not just for holidays!

I found these at Wallmart. They are 100% breast meat. Already seasoned, in a bag. There is No PREP work other than putting it in the oven & cutting 3, 1/2 in slits in the bag. Also they are CHEAP. At around 2.5/3 lbs for $10 bucks you can't beat it. Only 1 gr of fat for 4oz and 100 calories! That is nearly 12 servings for $10 dollars. Less than $2 a serving! Just slice & eat. Use it on salads, add to grilled or saute'd veggies, sandwich's w/ whole wheat or whole grain wraps or flat bread and you have a meal in about 5 minutes once it's cooked!

Taste the rainbow!

The more colorful your food is, the healthier it is for you! This is a shrimp salad. It has baby bib lettuce, mini bell peppers, baby carrots, pear tomatoes, seedless cucumbers, already cooked frozen shrimp and creamy bacon dressing. What!! Why would I use that dressing!? Let me explain. At Walmart they have a brand of dressings called Walden Farms. They are ALL fat free, sugar free, carb free, gluten free, and most of all calorie free! I also try and buy all the mini/baby veggies because they are usually already cleaned, or easier to clean & you have virtually no chopping to do. If you buy the bag lettuce it is already clean also. This makes it very quick & easy to make a salad. I am sort of lazy when it comes to this so the easier I make it ,the better!
